I've been blog slacking again, I know. I'm sorry! The creative juices have just not been flowing around here recently. I think they are frozen by this winter we are having. I know it's NOTHING compared to some other parts of the country, but it's still winter and I am d-o-n-e with it. The weather we had over the weekend was such a teaser for spring, but now it's cold again. I just haven't been taking many pictures recently, so without pictures there's not a whole lot to blog about. Maybe some warmer temperatures will come soon to thaw out those creative juices. ;)
Anyway, the point of this post was not to vent about the weather, but to document some of Camden's recent projects. I mentioned this morning on facebook that I am totally obsessed with the stuff Camden brings home from school. (I like to call it a healthy obsession.) It's SO fun to see what he's been up to there. He's making such great progress in Kindergarten so far, which makes for a very proud mama!
He brings home tons of stuff... this was just the most recent batch...
I guess I didn't know that they were going to be doing so much math in Kindergarten. I am amazed at the word problems he is already doing. I was a.w.f.u.l at word problems (and all math in general... i know my math-teacher-sister-in-law is laughing at me right now), so it's great to see that he's doing well with them so far.
"I wint to Chickfla to get some ice crym with my mommy and my bruthr." LOVE IT! And I love the cute picture of us all at the table together. Check out Camden's fancy letters in his name.
I loved this one. Am I the only one who thinks this could totally have a spot in the art museum?! :)
I've said it before and I'll say it again... I LOVE having a school-aged child... there are certainly challenges but so many fun aspects about it as well. I can't believe the school year is more than halfway over! (I can already hear my home-schooling mom friends cheering...)

Smart boy! Love it. You should keep a little shoe box with a few of your favorites. :)
this is great! I agree with Laura keep your absolute favorites but definitely take pictures of ALL of Cam's artwork so you can keep it for years to come. I have even seen where moms have made collages out of the pictures.
This was a post worth waiting for! I love the artwork! and seeing his learning and his thoughts through pictures. Will, after you guys left on Sunday, said, "Camden really is so smart! He told Opa to count to 30 while he hid. Opa said 10-20-30. Camden's response was 'Not by 10's Opa!'" L.o.v.e watching this kid learn and grow!
I love the pictures! Camden is quite the talented artist! I so look forward to this stage too with Eva.
check out bookemon.com and lilsugar.com, you can get his artwork made into a little book!! He is so smart!
