photo dump

Time for another photo dump.  Lots of pics, but nothing worth an individual post.  Enjoy!

Blurry, but cute.  My girly girl still playing with boy stuff.

Celebrating my sweet friend Ellie's birthday one night.  Love nights out with friends.  Such a refreshment to my soul!

I was in charge of making a Halloween treat for Anderson's preschool Halloween party.  I dipped pretzels in white candy coating that I attempted to dye bright orange.  However, I couldn't get it dark enough before it started hardening, so I had to give up and just deal with a light orange/peachy color.  Oh well.  Also, those are black sprinkles, not pepper. :)  I also included some little bat rings for the kids to take home.

I voted!  In case you couldn't read the sticker. :)  Thankful for the privilege to vote.

The kids didn't have school on Halloween day.  I felt a little guilty that I didn't do something fun like get them a fun Halloween craft or something fun and out of the ordinary to do.   So, I turned their tortillas into pumpkins.  Voila!

Then, Anderson decided to take it a step further and decorate his even more.  I laughed so hard when I saw this:

Evelyn has learned to stick her tongue out.  Not in a rude way, of course.  Not yet, anyway.  So cute.

Sweet little girl.

I should have known better than to leave a pile of clean and folded clothes on the floor!  There's no way I can be mad at this face, though.  Impossible.

This was the day of the State vs. Carolina football game.  We were dressed in red and ready for a victory for the 6th year in a row.  Unfortunately... State let us down.  Maybe next year.

Already a little shopper!  That's my girl! ;)

What?  Is it not normal for a kid to be driving a Batmobile around the house with no shirt on and 50 degrees outside?

Sesame Street was all about elections and Presidents on Election day.  While Camden doesn't normally enjoy Sesame Street anymore, he liked it that day because he understood  what they were talking about.  He's learned a lot about Presidents and voting in Social Studies at school this year.  My kid is so old!

Sweet girl being sweet to her baby.

I adore this picture.  I adore their sweet relationship!  And this little girl ADORES her biggest brother.

Sweet cheesy smile.

I took both little kids to the doctor on Halloween day for Anderson's 4-year well check and Evelyn's ear infection follow-up.  There was good news and bad news.  Good news... Anderson is healthy as a horse and is right on track physically and developmentally (which I think we already knew).  Bad news... not only was Evelyn's ear infection not gone, but it was still here - and WORSE than it was a few weeks ago!  I am so glad we went back for a checkup.  She was put on Augmentin and we're hoping that did the trick.  Anderson had to get 2 shots, a finger prick, and the flu mist.  Our next appointment is Camden's 8-year well check and another ear check for Evelyn.  She will also be getting her one year shots at that appointment.  Should be fun.

My real life monkey.

We went to dinner one night this week and this was the view outside our window.  Normally, I'd roll my eyes and say something like "Seriously?  We JUST got through with Halloween."  But this year, for some reason, I am SO ready for Christmas already!  Bring it on!
