I have to admit, I am often without words when Anderson shows me what he has drawn. I think God has blessed him with this talent! Of course, all mothers think their kids are the most talented, cutest, smartest kids in the world, right?! ;) I am trying to get better about taking pictures of the boys' work, since I can't keep everything they make... unfortunately. If I had all the space in the world, I'd keep each and every picture they make. Both of my boys LOVE to sit at the table and color/draw. I think they are both getting "over" coloring though. Camden has been over it for a while... he's moved on to drawing maps and zoos and that kind of stuff. Anderson will color a picture from a coloring book for a few minutes, then will end up drawing pictures in the blank spaces he can find on his paper. I just love to watch these boys sit and concentrate so hard, and then see their final masterpiece.
This is supposed to be me, which is why it's pink. I LOVE the fingers. Apparently he thinks my right hand has infinitely more fingers than my left.
This is just a boy, he said. He looks kind of scary, but its still really good!! I am super impressed with his eyes, nose, and ears. Also, love the freckles. Oh, and the scarf!
This is a snowman! Could you tell? He has a carrot nose, and a little (upside down) top hat. I love his buttons, and the snow falling from the sky. I also love how the snowman is the biggest at the top, and smallest at the bottom. I guess he got a little mixed up with the way that really goes. :)
This picture isn't related to this post at all, but had to include it... my little rascal eating an ice cream cone... one of his favorite things in the world!

These blow me away. (And Caleb! He is shocked!)
Poor Grace Elizabeth can not even draw a circle...or a straight line if I asked her to. Poor kid doesn't take after her daddy.
Trying not to compare our kids! I just have to tell myself that she can say a lot of big fancy words, that's good, right? haha
I am super impressed! Leiana still just scribbles. She apparently got my artistic abilities (er... lack thereof). :)
whoa, yes that is impressive indeed. A is definitely more advanced in the art department than JD. But they do have one thing in common...they both LOVE ice cream cones :)
