I met one of my favorite people for coffee and dessert one night.  Its always so refreshing to get out of the house, away from the kids, and catch up!  Can't believe we've been friends for 13 years, Em!

I have to leave this gate up constantly or Evelyn makes a run (crawl) for the stairs.  She's obsessed!

David drew this Batman for Anderson and he colored it.  Batman is his newest "thing".  He LOVES it.

Camden received his first "love letters" at school.  He was pretty embarrassed about it, but tried to play "cool".  He said he didn't have a crush on her.  Poor girl!

I finally decorated my house for fall!  I made a pot of homemade vegetable soup to really make it feel like fall.

Evelyn LOVES this fountain at North Hills.  She will walk around it over and over and over.  I had to snap this picture to show her Aunt Bonnie that she was wearing her Seven jeans. :)

I made myself a yummy tomato sandwich not too long ago... whole wheat bread, fresh ripe tomatoes, mayo, salt and pepper.  YUM!

Evelyn loves to get into the cabinets.  Specifically, the cleaning supply cabinets.  I bought a special latch to secure them, but it ended up being too small.  So, for now, I'm just having to watch her carefully!  She's so stinkin' cute though.

I wanted to catch up blogs and Facebook one morning while the boys were at school, and this is how Evelyn decided to entertain herself.  It kept her busy for a good 15 minutes.  She had a ball.

Our daughter.... she's just as much a rascal as the older two!  It was my fault... I left it in her reach.

Evelyn had her first waffle about 2 weeks ago.  Loved it!

She loves bread, too.  She's such a carb queen!

Did I mention that Anderson loves Batman?  He pretends this Transformers mask is a Batman mask.  Way to be resourceful, buddy!

We have a Writing Spider that has built its web right near our front porch.  It's been there for several weeks and the boys love to run out and check on him.  I am definitely a mom of boys! :)

Carpool + torrential downpour = no fun

If you are friends with me on facebook, you likely saw this:  Anderson fell asleep while trying to use the potty.  He had been sitting there for about 20 minutes (yes, we still have issues with going #2).  This was about 9pm... no wonder he fell asleep!

Evelyn's favorite thing to do in her room is pull all the books off the shelves.  Yay.
