exhaustion and hiccups

Exciting news... I have just felt Anderson's hiccups for the first time! I had heard it starts happening around this time, and a few of my other friends have already been experiencing it...and it finally happened to my boy! He was moving all around, but I kept feeling a little tap about every 3 seconds, in the same spot. It's so sweet. I love it when babies have hiccups. On a different note...I have been feeling really exhausted lately. Yesterday I had the day off from work, so I tried to get as much done as possible. Well, it obviously caught up with me because I passed out on the couch at 6:30 last night while my sweet husband was doing the dishes. I am a little worried that I am already feeling this tired (and uncomfortable) this early in my pregnancy. (I know it's not EARLY, but I still have a whole trimester left!!) I am beginning to think vacuuming and mopping are going to have to be off limits for the remainder of the pregnancy. I thought it was going to put me into labor yesterday. You other moms who are pregnant, are you experiencing this exhuastion too, this early? Some good news though...I haven't heard anything back from the doctor about my glucose test, and they told me that no news is good news. They said they would call me within 2-3 business days if the test came back abnormal, and today was day 4. So I think that means I'm clear! Praise the Lord! One less thing to worry about. Anyway, just wanted to update you about this fun, but exhausting pregnancy!

yay for anderson's hiccups! and yes- i have been going through extreme discomfort from about 6 or 7pm- on, and have been getting very tired already. there are days where i wish i had a dog to chase Mecaden and let me sit on the couch. exhaustion example- twice this week we woke up at around 9 and as soon as M went down for her nap at 11, I fell asleep.
hey, do you think if you can convince David to do the dishes and vacuuming, he can mention that to Todd? :)

Yay for the hiccups! And, while I'm not pregnant, I can say that I was so exhausted when I was pregnant with Jocelyn that I don't think I could have worked - so this doesn't sound weird at all to me!

Also, Em and Ashley, if you can find one refurbished (since they're way cheaper that way), a Roomba is totally worth it. It's a little robotic vacuum, and neither Lee nor I vacuum anymore except for the stairs, since it can't do those, and the edges of the room, since it doesn't hit those well. It is amazing, the best little gadget ever! You just hit a button, and then it rolls itself around, vacuums the room, and returns to its base to recharge its battery when it's done.

Anderson's future wife was having major hiccups yesterday too. Maybe they are trying to communicate.
PS I got Caleb to vacuum because someone told me it wasn't good for us to push something that heavy in that motion...it may be false, but it's worth a shot!

Let's have a dinner date soon. I'm CRAVING delivery pizza for some reason...I almost ordered it at midnight last night, so maybe we can get that!

Yeh, I've been exhausted the past couple of days, even after a good night's sleep AND sleeping in; so thank you for your post because it lets me know I can chalk it up to pregnancy! :-)

They didn't give you the glucose results right there in the office?! That would have really stressed me out (esp. since I was stressed about it already), at MidCarolina they did the test right there and had the results in like 10 seconds. [shrug]

Sorry my comment is scatter-brained :-) this is Jenelle by the way. I don't really have a blogspot blog, but I do have a xanga feel free to drop by: www.xanga.com/skywalker72521

there, now I don't feel like such a "blog lurker" :) hehe

Funny,I have been feeling pretty exhausted lately too! No really, it's carrying around the extra weight on you girls' tiny bodies and the heat. Hang in there! You will do great. Some things can wait and taking care of yourselves is top priority.
