texas...it's like a whole other country.
This past weekend we went to Texas to visit Nana and Pops (David's parents). We had a lot of fun! I didn't get hardly any picutres...as you can see they are mainly of Camden. Sometimes I'm just not as good with the camera as I should be! We flew in and out of San Antonio, but Nana and Pops live in Corpus Christi. We had a lot of fun swimming in their pool, going to the beach, and eating yummy food. It was fun being back in San Antonio since that's where I was born. We went to the famous Riverwalk and had lunch. I don't think I've been there in 20 years (am I right Mom and Dad?), so I didn't remember it, but it sure was a pretty place! Thanks for everything Nana and Pops!
The Alamo...if you look closely you can see David and Camden standing on the sidewalk!

We went to a Corpus Christi Hooks game (very similar to Durham Bulls), and Camden had a lot of fun. He even got a new hat from Pops!
This might have been Camden's highlight of the trip. He kept asking if we were going to go see the shark again. This was just a little souvenier shop by the beach. The scary thing is, that's probably about the size of a real great white shark! Ahhh!
We went to see the USS Lexington (an old military ship which is now a museum) right there in Corpus. What's really neat is that Pops was actually on this ship for training when it was still being used in about 1990. It was neat to walk around it and hear him tell his memories about it. Camden didn't really understand what it was, but I'm sure he'll think it's cool one day when we tell him of its history!

We enjoyed seeing the pics of your trip to TX. So glad you got to go and also to revisit your birthplace. Your memory is correct, because we moved to McAllen when you were one.
Camden looks like he had a blast. He is so photogenic and always looks so happy! You are looking so pretty, little Mama! Miss you all so much!!! Hugs and kisses!
