a barking seal...
...is the sound I woke up to in the middle of the night last night. Yep...Camden has croup! Just what we need with a newborn in the house! I gave him some cough medicine and some tylenol so he would go back to sleep...and he seems to be doing much better today. They say it gets worse during the night though...so I may be up with him again tonight - hopefully not! And unfortunately, as the day has progressed, MY throat is starting to get really scratchy and I am beginning to lose my voice. And...Anderson threw up almost his entire bottle a little while ago and I'm hoping it doesn't mean anything bad. Please pray that all this sickness will be gone soon, and most importantly that our new little one doesn't get sick too!

if it makes you feel better, Levi threw up about half his bottle two nights ago (i keep trying to force him to eat while he was trying to sleep- won't do that again)...

If you need any advice or suggestions about croup let me know...I had it every year for 7 years. I can call my mom, she knows what to do!
I think if I remember correctly, the main things were to use a humidifier and to take him outside in the cold (sounds crazy I know, but it works)
AND grace elizabeth threw up an entire bottle of milk last night too! It soaked through the (thick) burp cloth AND my shirt and the blanket I had her in. Maybe its somethin in the water!
The joys of having little ones! Just call their doctor...that's what they are for! Take care of yourself...you don't have time to be sick. Will be praying for you all.
