what's new with the boys

Just a little update on my boys!

Camden is busy busy busy, as always. His biggest thing right now is Noah's Ark. He likes to play with it, color it, you name it. He will sit for more than 30 minutes straight and I'll overhear him telling the entire story, very accurately. I'll hear words like "olive twig", "altar", "two by two", and "40 days and 40 nights". It's really cute to watch! He is still enjoying school so much, and has made some really great friends! It's really amazing how much he is learning there. We are getting ready to sign him up for next next year...the only choices we had were 4 or 5 days a week, so we chose 4. A lot of the other kids in his class will be doing the same, so we're hoping he'll be with some of the same kids next year. Here's a pic of the Noah's Ark he created with blocks and animals. Very creative.

My sweet little baby is just growing so fast. I can't believe he'll be 3 months old on Thursday! Things are going really well with him at home. He is now eating 7 ounces every 4 hours, and sleeping about 10-11 hours at night! David and I are beside ourselves. He usually goes down around 10:15 and will sleep until 8-something or 9. Eventually we will make it so his schedule allows him to go to bed around 8 or 9, so we can still have some time for just ourselves in the evening. He loves having tummy time...and will usually be content for about 5-10 minutes before he gets tired of it. He has started to giggle if we are silly with him...it's the CUTEST sound. He is definitely in 3-6 month clothes and can already fit in some outfits that just say "6 months". His next check-up is Feb. 23, and I can't wait to see how much he has grown! I love how I can already tell that my boys have a special relationship. I know it sounds silly, but Anderson just lights up when Camden gets in front of him and talks to him. He's immediately all smiles and starts kicking his legs. I think they're going to have a lot of fun together when Anderson gets a little older. They're growing right before our eyes!

He looks soooo happy! I know it is because God gave him the best Daddy, Mommy, and big brother! We are so proud of you all!

Camden is so smart and creative. I love the way he is learning his Bible stories. He did the Birth of Jesus at Christmas with great skill. He is a remarkable boy!

Cam has always been so smart- he pays attention to details like i have never seen in my life! reminds me of the time we were at target and he was reading in the cart and said "Mama, the Condor is muddy" and we had to look and see what a Condor was. smarty pants knew it was the bird in the picture! he's just so stinkin' smart! and teaching himself how to write!

anderson is just so beautiful. what a good boy sleeping so well for you guys! he's growing up fast- look out, you'll be wanting another newborn before you know it!
