The Lord is faithful when we listen to the work the Holy Spirit is doing in us, although we are SO undeserving.

convicted
After my last post, I could not get the whole "borrowing" internet thing off my mind. (Holy Spirit? I think yes.) Strange, I know, since it never really seemed like a such big deal to me. Although I did know it wasn't right and that we were in fact cheating the system, my "want" for internet overshadowed what was really right. Spending that extra money every month didn't really fit in our budget, so there were no plans to get it anytime soon, and just keep doing what we were doing. So, anyway, I told David of my conviction, and let him know that I felt we should either buy internet service, or get rid of this computer use all together. I also told him that I was willing to get rid of cable and just go down to basic, since we don't watch just a ton of TV, and I felt internet (staying connected with the outside world!) was more important to me than cable. David called Time Warner today to figure something out. Well, long story short, we are going to be able to add internet (this weekend), while at the same time keeping the cable we already have, for $5 more a month than we are spending right now.

God is good! And good for you that you listened...just $5 more a month?? That's great!
I was so hoping that you'd stay online...I enjoy your blog way too much for you to leave!!
Wow Ashley, I pray that we will all be as obedient to the Lord even when it comes to the minor things. Thank you so much for sharing this testimony!!
P.S. Hope David was able to get you Road Runner Lite. That is what we did and there was no difference in the internet speed but there was a $20.00 savings!
Awesome :)
Hey, haven't seen you guys in a while! We miss you!
Hope Camden enjoys soccer and Awana! I love Awana. I can't wait until Leiana's big enough to go to Awana, I want to be a Sparkie leader... are they still called Sparks? I know they keep changing the names. Anyaway, is Camden going to be a Cubbie? Or is he old enough for Sparks?
I can't believe Anderson has so many teeth already! But then, Leiana seems to be the odd one out when it comes to teeth scheduling. :) L said "uh oh" for a while, and then stopped... I think we freaked her out trying to get her to say it all the time! ha ha
Have fun in California!
Y'all are awesome. That is just wonderful and Caleb and I hope we can keep this example in mind when we have an opportunity to do something "sneaky" too.
Wow, Ash! It's so easy to borrow internet, isn't it? And so easy to validate our reasons. What an example you are and such a blessing that you would share this with us!
