Do you know what January brings, other than a start to a new year? Brand spankin' new seasons of three fabulous shows! David and I look forward to plopping down on the couch after a long day to indulge in these wonderful forms of entertainment.
American Idol (love it!), Biggest Loser (love it!!!), and 24 (LOVE IT!!!!!!)

I am not, I repeat, NOT an American Idol fanatic by any means. If I missed an episode, it wouldn't be the end of the world. I am a little embarrassed to say that I love the show, but I do think it's pretty entertaining. David and I get a big kick out of the tryouts. Once I start watching and see who gets chosen, I just have to keep watching to see who succeeds/gets voted off. Plus, I am pretty excited about Ellen being one of the new judges. She is quite the comedian, so I think she will bring a new life to the show.
Biggest Loser... oh how I LOVE that show! Last season was actually the first time I had ever watched it. I got completely hooked. You quickly feel like you've "gotten to know" the people on the show. Last night was the start to a new season, and it's looking good so far! I can already tell who my favorites are. :)
24, oh my. I can't even begin to explain to you my obsession with this show. I know "obsession" is a strong word, but I am pretty confident about using in this paragraph. :) My parents have watched this show from the very beginning, and have always talked about how good it was. Well, last June (I think) they let David and I borrow the first four seasons. After we finished those, we found ways to find the other three. So, in 4 months, David and I watched 7 seasons of 24. We would literally watch 3 or 4 episodes per night. Oh. My. Goodness. It's completely wonderful. David sort of half-watches the other 2 shows, but loves 24 as much as I do (I think). :) If you have never enjoyed this show before, please do yourself a huge favor and watch this season (starts Sunday, the 17th), then go back and catch up with the previous 7. If you have the time. Ha!

I liked 24 up until the point where Jack killed his buddy. That pretty much killed the show for me... though I kept watching. Then the whole end of season 7 pretty much made me decide that I'm probably not going to watch it anymore.
i'm the biggest loser fanatic and lee is the 24 fanatic... its definitely an exciting time of year, for sure!! i was out of town last night and recorded biggest loser...i'm hoping to catch up soon!! yay!!!

But, I will say that if Jack spends the entire 24 hours sick like last year, this will be my last season.

Dancing with the Stars - Will and I called my ob after we found out who won last season. Anna-Kate was born 12 hours later. :)
