Two weeks ago, during spring break, we went strawberry picking! I am ashamed to say that this was our very first time doing this. We had so. much. fun!!! We went during the day while daddy was at work, so I would love to go again on a weekend and take him with us so he can see how much fun it is. The weather that day was amazing (a little windy though) so it was very pleasant out. We went to DJ's Berry Patch in Apex, and I highly recommend it. It was not crowded at all, and it was very family and kid friendly. Our friends Laura and Emily (and their littles) joined us and we had a picnic lunch before we started picking.
I think the boys ate more than they picked, but with as many strawberries as there were out there, they didn't even make a dent!
Camden loved finding BIG strawberries and showing them to me. It's kinda hard to tell in the pictures how big some of them really were!
This big bucket (eventually it was almost overflowing) was only $10!

Can't wait to hopefully go back again soon, and will definitely be making this an annual tradition!!!
(Sidenote: Anderson has had a haircut since these pictures were taken. His hair was looking a little out of control, I know!) :)

soo much fun! We are planning to take JD in a couple of weeks with his cousin. We have never been before either. So glad you all had a wonderful time. And by the way, I thought that A's hair looked cute!
