I am finally getting over a nasty cold/bug that started on Sunday. Headaches + sinus pressure + no energy + nausea = NO fun at all. Thankfully I have some wonderful family and friends who are so willing to help out with the kids!
Camden has less than 6 weeks left of school. Less than 6 weeks left of Kindergarten. I guess that means he'll then officially be a 1st grader, right? My goodness. I now understand why older people are always telling me not to blink, because they grow up FAST. I have never agreed more.
Anderson only has about 3 more weeks of school. Our pool opens Memorial Day weekend though, so that is sure to keep us busy this summer. CAN'T WAIT! Even though the boys LOVE school and I enjoy having some time to get things done or rest while they are at school, I am really looking forward to some down-time this summer. We will spend a lot of time at the pool and have a couple of fun trips planned.
I am 17 weeks pregnant today. I think I may have felt the baby move the other day, but haven't really felt anything since... so I'm not convinced. I could be feeling it every day, but somehow staying busy and taking care of 2 other kids might cause me not to realize it. Imagine that! Poor 3rd child.
I am still feeling very nauseous in the mornings and am ready for that to subside. At least it's not all day though... for that I am thankful!
I found out about Osama Bin Laden's death from facebook. Not from the news, not from a newspaper, but yep - facebook. While I am not rejoicing in his death (we all know he's not with our Savior!) I am very entertained by the fact that the whole thing sounds like it was straight out of an episode of 24. Jack Bauer must have been a part of it. They were successful, after all.
We have some ferns hanging on our front porch. Anderson and I had gone outside to take them down to water them. As I was pulling one of them down off the hook, a bird flew out (right past my head) and I screamed. I think I scared Anderson half to death and was afraid some of our neighbors were going to peek out to see what was going on. I looked in and saw that whatever bird was in there (didn't see what kind it was) had laid 4 eggs. They were about the size of a robin egg, but were white. Any idea what kind of bird it was??
Now that my cold is just about over and once I get my house back in order, I will try to post some pictures soon. Happy Wednesday!
