Camden is on his third year of baseball! The first two years he played t-ball, and this is his first year of coach-pitch. I have loved going to his practices and games to watch him play. Watching an entire game with a busy 3-year-old and a baby can be tricky (and David usually helps out on the field or in the dugout, so he can't help me with the little kids) but I love what I actually do get to see. :)
One thing that's been very different for us this year is that Camden is one of the youngest boys on his team. Since he's been born, he's always been the oldest in his group. School, church, etc... he's always been one of the oldest. The coach-pitch teams are made up of boys 7-8 years old. A lot of the boys are 8, getting ready to turn 9. There's a HUGE difference in skill level in 7.5 year olds and almost 9-year-olds! Camden is doing well, though. When we see that he's not at quite the same level as the other boys on his team, we have to remind ourselves that he's a year and a half younger! He's got a long way to go, but he's doing great.
I love this boy in his little uniform. The pic below is his actual game uniform: light blue shirt, tucked in. Oh, he's just absolutely edible in that outfit. Such a little MAN!
Daddy helping out in the dugout. (He's totally loving having a sports-age kid.)
It's definitely been a busy season so far. There is a practice and a game each week. We have to drive about 25 min each time we have practice/game, so that's kind of a bummer. But, it's worth it.
The little kids...
Anderson usually just plays nearby in a little area of dirt (sometimes he'll bring a little dump truck to play with) or plays with my phone to keep entertained. He doesn't have much interest in watching the game yet.
Then there's Evie... being the third child she gets carted around and has to nap anywhere and everywhere. She's a trooper!

TOO CUTE!
Todd wants Levi to start t-ball in the fall or next year or whenever it's the season for t-ball (lol, i have a LOT to learn). I know I will just DIE seeing him in a little uniform, hat and glove. OH SHOOT!!!!!!!
love your pictures!
Ah, Evie is just GORGEOUS! and Camden does look like such a little man in that uniform! Oh my goodness...
LOVE Cam in his uniform! Okay, aunt and uncle need to see this in person! AK and Anderson can play in the dirt together :)
So proud of Camden! Just wait until Anderson is playing as well! Then, there are also dance lessons for Evie! :)
what a fun family outing. Camden looks adorable and I cannot get over how big he is. Cannot imagine how fun and yet crazy things will be when A & E get involved in their events.
Hey, we'd love to come to a game sometime and watch C play... Can you message me his schedule and address to the ballpark? i really miss watching little league games!!!
