We ventured out to the Christmas Parade this past Saturday. The parade was going to be 3 hours long, I think, so we decided to just go a little late to see the hour and a half/two hours of it. Big mistake! I forgot how crowded it gets, and we could hardly see anything! Camden spent a lot of time on daddy's shoulders, and Anderson hung out on Opa's shoulders so they could each see some of the parade. After the boys got tired of holding the little ones, we decided to just bail on the parade and try to get to the lunch spots before the rest of the crowds. Plan successful! We ate at Big Ed's (YUM!) and didn't even have to wait, which is a rare occurrence there. After lunch we headed back to Opa and Oma's house, who only live a couple of blocks from downtown, and played at a playground in their neighborhood. The weather was so nice that day, sunny and not too chilly.
