Last Saturday we went downtown for the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. We love to go to parades and try to make it to all of them. The Christmas parade this past year was ridiculously crowded, so that wasn't quite as enjoyable as it could have been. We got to this one just in time and got a perfect spot right on the curb, in front of all the action!
We brought our lunches and enjoyed eating in the warm sunshine.
I gave Anderson an apple and it entertained him for a good while! Nutritious + entertaining = a winner in my book!
Anderson checking out the bagpipe man. This was only seconds before he started freaking out because they were so loud! Poor guy!
During the parade, lots of people throw out candy to the "audience". We got tons of it. Anderson enjoyed his very first dum-dum. He LOVED it!
One of us ended up holding Anderson the whole time since he was scared of the noises. I don't blame him... some of them were pretty surprising. There was a group of clowns that came by, and poor Anderson FREAKED OUT. We thought it was hilarious. Laura, aren't you glad you weren't there for that?! :)
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

haha. I wish Laura had been there for the clowns! And I think it is funny that A freaked out! Was it like when Cam freaked out at the pink stuffed poodle? :)
Looks like a great time, I didn't even know that existed! We will have to check it out next year.
(Minus the DREADFUL clowns though...Anderson has great intuition.)
Sounds like a great St. Patrick's Day parade. My 5 yr old Jaxon was like Anderson when he was little. He hated loud noises! He's gotten a little better about it over the years! Love all your pics!!!
