Anyway! We do have some good news... David got a much needed/wanted promotion at work that he's been waiting on for quite a while now. He's now working at the Capital Bank in Wake Forest instead of downtown. His new title is "Commercial Portfolio Manager". Sounds fancy, right? :) I am so so proud of him and believe he deserves this so much.
On a completely different note... I have started waking up at 6am every day. I used to sleep until about 7:15 or so, then get right in the shower and go about my day. I have started to exercise and have quiet times when I wake up now. Camden doesn't get up until 7am, so I have a whole hour to myself to do these things. Since high school, I've never had a regular exercise routine, other than walking (with a kid in tow) occasionally. I started to feel a heaviness on my heart that I need to make sure I'm taking care of ME so that I can do my job and take care of my family. I have to tell you... I am really really enjoying it! I have so much energy after I work out and it just makes me feel SO good. I am SO SORE though... but I'm thankful I can see the fruit of my labor. :) Do any of y'all have any recommendations of good exercise videos I should try?? Please let me know your suggestions! I have been using FitTV and Exercise on Demand, but I'd love something else to spice it up a little.
So, that's basically what's new around here. Hope everyone is having a great rainy (soon to be snow... ugh) Tuesday!

I have a Jillian Michael's DVD that I used to use pre-pregnancy...it kicks your butt at first but def. works!
You are welcome to it because I sure am not using it until this kiddo gets out :)
please make a list and blog it if you get workout video suggestions. i was thinking today that i might like a workout dvd for days like today with yucky weather.
Wow, sorry to hear about A! JD just got over an ear infection. Sounds like we were in the same boat with the napping. Hope he starts feeling better no matter what it is. And congrats to David for that new promotion. I know you are one proud wife!! :) And I second Laura's suggestion about Jillian. She is good.
I'm also a fan of Denise Austin... I started exercising again a couple of weeks ago since it's been too cold to go for long walks lately... then we all got sick... so I'm sure the muscles I was beginning to get back in shape all went on strike again :) hehe.
Let me know which video you like!
