Last Saturday we went to "Public Safety Day" at Wakefield High School. They had one at Leesville last year and we went, but Anderson was too young to understand what anything was. When we heard about this, David and I both knew Anderson would just be overwhelmed with excitement since he loves all things transportation.
Well, apparently he would rather look at the fire trucks from a distance...
After we were done there, we went to Triangle Town Center with Emily and her little ones to eat lunch and play in the little water sprayers outside. Chick-fil-A had a "beach party" outside where they had water toys and stuff for the kids to play with. They were handing out free samples of peach milkshakes (so yummy!) and even gave out some free spicy chicken sandwiches (have you tried one of these yet?!? Might be my new obsession.). Anderson wasn't terribly fond of the water spraying out of the ground.

what a fantastic day for you all!
We have got to be on the look out for this safety day next year! And I completely forgot about the water spray at TTC! thanks for these wonderful reminders.
