This is Camden's first year of T-ball, and it has been so much fun watching him play. I LOVE having a kid this age that is starting to do this kind of stuff. To be completely honest, however, we're not sure Camden totally loves it. He is still young, so it certainly doesn't mean he won't like it when he gets a little older, but as for right now his heart just isn't totally in it. Maybe we will try again next year and see what happens.
It is SO funny to watch 5 and 6 year olds play T-ball. Half of the time, they hit the ball off the tee (which can take 4 or 5 times to succeed) and once they finally hit the ball, they have no clue where to run. Many of them run straight toward the outfield. Hilarious! As we've gotten more into the season, they have started to learn when and where to do what. There are dads all over the field helping and directing the kids where to go.
Some of these pictures were taken far away, so the quality probably isn't that great. We have baseball pants for Camden, but they can choose to wear either pants or shorts depending on the weather, so we chose shorts this day.
So serious waiting for that ball to come his way.
