i've had better days...

It's been an interesting day so far...I had to go to the oral surgeon this morning to have a tooth extracted! Anderson and I headed over there around 8:00 to begin the wonderful process. I have only had one tiny filling in my mouth, never had any shots...so this was a brand new experience for me. I definitely felt the shots even though they rubbed numbing medicine on it first, but it wasn't bad at all! Then it only took the doctor about 2 minutes to get the tooth out and stitch it up. I couldn't believe how fast it was. So, here I am now sitting in the midst of a disastrous living room, eating applesauce and watching cartoons with Camden. I explained to him that I might have to rest a lot today, so he may have to play by himself quite a bit and entertain himself. He's done great so far. I even got to sleep on the couch for about an hour while he read books in his room. So sweet! I took some Vicodin about 2 hours ago, and it's working nicely. That's what made me pass out though. However, the narcotic apparently had absolutely no effect on my unborn child...because he's been WIRED in there ever since I took it. The doctor said it might make the baby sleepy, but I think he was mistaken. Anyway...if you'd just keep me in your prayers for fast healing and a little extra energy to get through the day, I'd appreciate it! :)
