early Christmas

David and I decided to go ahead and do Christmas at our house this weekend since we won't be here for Christmas day. We wanted Camden to feel like it was "real" Christmas. David explained to Camden on Friday night that he had "talked" to Santa, and Santa had agreed to come early this year. He was so excited. So, we made chocolate chip cookies, and he wrote his letter to Santa, and we placed it out on the table by the tree. When everything was all done, Camden went to bed and couldn't wait to wake up in the morning. Let's just say "Santa" was very busy that night trying to get everything ready for the morning! "Santa" had not wrapped anything yet, so it had to all be done that night. Here's what he got: A new kid's table (from Oma and Opa), a Beginner's Bible, 5 new books, a "pizza party" play dough maker, new play dough, a real baseball glove, and a tricycle (which we haven't received yet, but is from Nana and Pops). His stocking was full of goodies: fruit snacks, goldfish, animal crackers, mini oreos, smarties, and stickers. I think he was really excited about all his new stuff! It's so fun to see the happiness on his face. Anderson got a cute Octopus toy from Nana and Pops, but we didn't get him anything this year from us since he's already getting so much stuff from other family. We are looking so forward to heading to my parents house in 3 days. Merry Christmas everyone!
