finally...
Many of you know that David and I took a long awaited trip to IKEA this past weekend. It was SO much fun...definitely one of our new favorite places!! Cara & Emily watched the boys for us all day so we could go to Charlotte by ourselves, so we are very thankful to them for that! Here is our new dining table we got! We've been wanting a new table for 5 years! We are so excited to have a table we love, and one that seats up to 8 people! (there are only 6 chairs pictured, but we have two extra ones...and the table has a leaf that can be put in to expand to 8 seats.) The light fixture is also from IKEA. This picture kills two birds with one stone...as it shows our new table AND the finished trim that David painted. :) Isn't it amazing how such small things like painting and different lights can make such a huge difference?!

whaaaat? since when has there been an ikea in charlotte? i thought the closest one was near dc. good to know. your table, light fixture, and painted trim all look great.

It really looks amazing- WHAT a difference! The trim is just beautiful and really brightens up the entire room, and the table is just HOT ;)
Love it Ash- you guys have done a great job. Can I come over next week Mon, Thurs or Fri and help with the trim upstairs? Maybe Mon/Fri while C is in school and I can drop M off at my parents so we can get down and dirty!
