a week in review

It's been a busy week! Camden started school, and my sister came to visit for a couple of days. It's been so much fun. Camden loves his new class at school... and I can't believe this is his last year of preschool before kindergarten! Ahhh! Good thing I have a year to prepare myself. Goodness gracious. Anyway, here's what we've been up to and some pictures from our week:
(all of the pictures are in reverse order... oops!)

We had a picnic at a park last night for dinner. Look how big my boys are getting!
Yesterday we went to "Bugfest" at the Museum of Natural Science downtown. It was an all-day event where the entire museum was filled with bugs. Any kind of bug you can imagine. Live ones and dead ones. Even ones you can eat. (See a few pics below.) This is a picture of the boys checking out some turtles that are always at the museum.
Anderson and David standing inside a tree that has bats at the top. That's what Anderson is checking out. Notice the wolfpack shirts the older boys are wearing... gotta support the PACK! Anderson doesn't have one just yet, but at least he has on red!
Again, these are in reverse order, but this is the face was making after he saw daddy eat a chocolate covered mealworm. YUMMY! If you look closely you can see him holding one of the mealworms in his hand. He didn't hold onto it very long... he refused to eat one! I don't blame him.
Mmm Mmm good! (sorry about the red eyes)
Aunt Bonnie and Anna-Kate. You can tell she lives at the beach, can't you? :)
Oma & Anderson. I think he got his blonde hair from her. :)
Sweet Anna-Kate!
Reverse order again... Anderson has learned how to get on top of the table by pushing a basket up to it. And you can tell he was very satisfied with himself! (above picture) :) I'm thinking this is going to be the kid that ends up in the emergency room before age 2. Let's hope not.
