hello!

I am sorry for having been MIA for the last few days. I was a single mom all last week... David was out of town for work. He never has to travel for work (thankfully!) but once a year he goes away for a week to take some classes. I was doing really well for the first couple of days, but by Wednesday and Thursday, I felt the exhaustion starting to set in. We are so happy to have daddy home! David's little brother Nolan is graduating from State this weekend, so Nana and Pops (David's parents) are here to visit for that. The boys are having a great time with them, and of course are soaking up all the attention.

Anderson woke up with what I thought was a stomach bug yesterday morning, but he only got sick a couple of times and then was fine the rest of the day, and is great today too. He must have had something the night before that upset his stomach, but we all ate the same things and none of us got sick, so I'm not sure what happened there. I got him to rest on the floor while watching some shows. I feel so bad when they are sick, but it's so sweet when they are calm and cuddly.

Just a little while later, he was feeling much more like himself. I put a bib on him in case he decided to get sick when I wasn't watching. I also had him sit in a chair with a towel so we would have as little of a mess as possible. Thankfully it never became in issue again!

I've also been busy because of this sweet little face below. This is Heidi. She is almost 4 months old. I have started taking care of Heidi 4 days a week, from 1-5 most days, and 8-12 one day. She's our friends Emily and Dave's little girl, and they live just down the street from us! The boys LOVE having Heidi around. She's a doll.

I thought Anderson was little until I saw him next to Heidi! It's crrrazy! Anderson had laid down next to her and was letting her play with his hair. So sweet.

So, here I am! Once things calm down after this weekend, I hope to get back to blogging. Have a wonderful weekend!

I've been in the same boat. Randy had to travel this week..first time in 10 years. He blew in the house for an hour yesterday, then left for a weekend camping trip with K2. I have figured out one thing...I don't cook or clean when he's not here. :D

So glad Anderson is feeling better and tell your in-laws hello!

Hugs.
