school's out for summer

Now that school is over, we have all summer open to do all sorts of fun things. I have a pretty big list of things we can do this summer for free or cheap, but I'd love for you to leave me a comment telling me your favorite summer activity. I would love some new ideas!

One of the things we'll be doing a lot of is going to the pool. Our neighborhood pool is literally about 100 yards from our house, so it's real easy to get to and from quickly. We went for the first time after supper on Friday night and had a blast. Anderson took a while to get used to the water, and it wasn't until we were getting ready to leave that he decided to start playing on the steps. There is a huge roped-off section that is only 2 feet deep - which is GREAT for little kids! We are planning on going this evening as well, so hopefully he will warm up faster tonight.

Somebody is happy to be swimming again.

Happy Summering! :) Don't forget to leave me your favorite summer activity suggestions!

So far... we like running through the sprinkler (which also waters our lawn), sidewalk chalk on the driveway, bubbles, and swings.

Music times at libraries, toy stores (Tookie's or Learning Express), play time at North Hills, pool time with the cousin, ...

I think you know what I know, but I need your wealth of knowledge. After you get some responses, this faithful blog reader would love it if you posted a list of your favorite cheap/free options!

I would love to see your list we are trying to find fun cheap/fun things to do as well. Millbook Splash Park, and Kazoom Puppet Theater (we should all do this together I have been talking to Emily about going). If I think I more I will come back. =) Love the pictures of Camdens graduation that will be me in 2 years--I can't believe it!
