pool time

We have a neighborhood pool that is going to open this coming weekend (YAY!!!) but we all know that we can't spend just a whole lot of time out there at one time... due to naps, chores, etc. I thought it would be great to have a little pool at our house that I could let the boys play in (or just Camden while Anderson naps). We have a big back porch that has plenty of room for it. It's also shady most of the time, so I don't even have to worry about sunscreen! The first day we opened the pool, I just put about an inch of water in there just so the boys could get their feet wet. I didn't even put Anderson in his bathing suit because I didn't really expect him to be in it very long, so I just let him go in his clothes. I ended up changing him into a swim diaper eventually, after I realized we might be out there for a while. (The pictures are in reverse order.) I also gave them popsicles in the water, which makes for easy clean-up! :) I am sure we will have lots of fun times out there in this pool this summer.
