Parenting is by far the most challenging thing I have ever experienced. It is frustrating, difficult, scary, overwhelming, exhausting, and impossible without the Lord's help! But, it is also exciting, hilarious, heart-warming, rewarding, humbling, thrilling, breath-taking, and completely mind-blowing. The fact that the Lord gives us these precious children to care for and raise is so humbling. While these have definitely been the hardest years of my life (and I know they will only get harder), they are also by far the best. I absolutely love having children and look so forward to seeing them grow up.

I love quotes. I always have. When I was younger, I had an entire notebook where I would write down my favorite quotes when I'd find them. Sadly, I don't know where that notebook is now. But, I still love quotes and thought I'd share a few of my favorite parenting quotes with you. Some are silly, some are sweet... and all are so true!
Enjoy!

love it. all of it.
aww SO sweet and so true. I love it too. Thanks for sharing, it makes my cranky kiddos seem more tender after reading that.
Great quotes! And so true, all of them. I agree with you- the last one is the best! I also like the one by Lane Olinghouse.
I'm finding out the more children I have, the more their personalities vary and that God must know what He's doing to push me out of my comfort zone. Otherwise I'd always assume children were all as nice and sweet as Eva! And...that's why God gave me Thibault :)
great post!! i love the one about the merry-go-round!
Thank you for passing these great quotes along. I love... "A parent's love is whole no matter how many times divided." ~Robert Brault
