egg hunts

We hunted many eggs this past weekend. Camden loves it, and Anderson is still trying to learn how to master it.

On Saturday, as I mentioned in my last post, we went downtown for the big hunt at Moore Square. Well, anyone who attended knows it was i.n.s.a.n.e. Complete chaos. Almost to the point that it wasn't even enjoyable. David waited in line for 30 minutes for the wristbands that were "required" to participate in the hunt, but they didn't even check for them when it was time. So that was pointless. Then, when it was time for the hunts to start, there were SO many kids that Camden got 1 measly little egg. He was so disappointed. I didn't see it, but I heard that kids were being trampled by other kids just to try and get more eggs. Like I said, chaos! So, I apologize if you got the idea from my blog and then headed over there only to experience madness. Please forgive me. :) It really wasn't so bad... we had fun as a family.

Maybe next year Anderson will be able to give Camden some competition in egg-hunting. :)
