spring break

Camden has been off school all week for spring break and we've had so much fun together. I will admit that my first thought of spring break was "it's going to be a long week". Well, it really has gone by quickly and we've all enjoyed having big brother home every day. It makes me look forward to the summer when there's no school and we can go to the pool a lot. Yay! I still can't believe it's Camden's last summer before Kindergarten.

We've been busy this week with playdates and going to lots of nearby parks. With the weather having been so beautiful, how could we not be outside all the time?! Anderson is LOVING playgrounds and Camden loves having a buddy to play with.

These pictures are from Shelley Lake yesterday... we went to feed the ducks and play around there for a while.

I just love how my boys get so red-cheeked when they get hot. It's so sweet. They're cute when they're sweaty. I don't really know why, but they just are. However, I am positive I won't feel the same way when they're 16. :)

Tomorrow we are heading downtown for Raleigh's big easter egg hunt at Moore Square. Here are the details in case you don't have any plans and need some! I'll have lots of Easter egg hunt/Easter pictures to post early next week.

Have a beautiful weekend and Happy Easter!

He isn't here! He is risen from the dead, just as He said would happen. Come, see where His body was lying. Matthew 28:6

That's funny! I was just thinking about my boys' red cheeks this morning. I just love them. We were playing outside and their hair was wet from sweat, and their cheeks were bright red.

But yesterday, I walked into their room to put up some laundry and thought, "Ugh. It smells like a boys room in here!"

So, I hear ya. It's cute sometimes...but I doubt it'll be cute when they're 16 and their bedrooms smell like big stinky boys.
