Spring has never been my favorite season, but after a long and cold winter, I happily welcome it! It is so good for all of us to be able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. I can't even count how many parks we've already played at and how many picnics we've had. Gotta enjoy it before it gets too hot to do those things! :)
My hubby graciously took me to Lowe's to buy some flowers to spruce up our home a little. He jokingly said, "don't say I never buy you flowers". :)
Thankfully our yard already has several plants that bloom beautifully in the spring, but we wanted to add a few more. I realize more and more every year how much I love going plant shopping!

See the little guy over on the right? The boys are t.e.r.r.i.f.i.e.d of them. Did you know that bumble bees with white faces don't have stingers? I learned this years ago when my dad caught one in his hand, and it didn't sting him. He said that's how he knows which ones sting and which ones don't... the white face. Good fact to remember! You're welcome for the science lesson. :)
I don't want to wish away this beautiful spring, but I sure am ready for our pool to open! Only about 6 more weeks!!!
